Operations are responsible for the global platform that supports Standard Life Aberdeen’s investment process. The services provided by the team are a combination of support services, such as systems administration and data management together with management of enhancements to the operational platform, to support investment process improvements and new business developments.
The Performance Measurement team is an integral part of Operations within Standard Life Aberdeen and provides performance, attribution, ex-post risk and GIPS analytics to many parts of the business and to our clients.
We are looking for Performance Analysts to support in two areas of the Performance Measurement team – Real Estate and Life Companies & Board Reporting, GIPS and Oversight on a 12 month fixed term basis.
The key focus of these roles are to support all internal business areas of Standard Life Aberdeen and external clients and consultants through the provision of comprehensive, accurate, timely, and relevant fund performance analysis.

This role may be suited to someone who has significant performance experience gained within a large asset management company dealing in multiple asset classes.
Degree in subject with high analytical content e.g. Maths/ Science /Economics
Analytical thinking - naturally inclined to analyse and challenge current processes and seek to ensure best practice at all times
Communicating and influencing – communicates effectively with others at all levels of seniority across the organisation and has a natural ability to influence others
Planning & Organising – is able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and is comfortable planning and prioritising own workload

Relationship Building/Management – can create, maintain and develop positive working relationships with internal clients across the Group as well as external clients
