How much money will I earn?
Salary levels depend very much on role and employer. Opportunities in fund management will pay more than administration for example but as a general rule for the latter, base salaries for entry level roles in investment administration will usually be no less than about £18,000. There are many opportunities to progress to more senior roles paying salaries in the 30's, 40's and more. Joslin Rowe's annual survey of salaries within the Scottish investment industry is a good start - this can be accessed from the Joslin Rowe website.
